1. Who we are

RUNROO Racing Services is a race management and chip timing company operating in Fort Worth, Texas. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean RUNROO Racing Services, and "you" means a visitor to this website, a registered runner, a volunteer or an event organizer.

2. What we collect

We collect only what a race needs in order to run.

Registration details you provide through our registration partner: name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, gender, emergency contact and shirt size.
Timing data generated on race day: the readings from the start, split and finish mats associated with your bib number.
Inquiry details you send us through the contact form or by email.
Volunteer sign-up details: name, email, mobile number, preferred race and preferred role.
Basic website analytics, which do not identify you personally.

3. Why we use it

To register you for a race, to score that race, to publish official results, to send you your finisher result, to staff the event safely, and to contact you about the race you signed up for. We use inquiry information only to respond to your inquiry and to prepare a quote.

4. Results are public

Race results are published publicly. That is the nature of a timed event. Published results include your name, bib number, age group, finish place and times. They do not include your email address, mobile number, street address or date of birth. If you would prefer to be listed by initials only, tell us before race day and we will do that.

5. Photography

Races are photographed and filmed. By entering the event you agree that images taken on course may be used by us and by the event's nonprofit partner in event communications and marketing. If you would rather not appear, contact us and we will do our best to honour that.

6. Who we share it with

Our registration provider, our results provider, our text messaging provider, and the nonprofit partner for the specific race you entered. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

7. How long we keep it

Results are kept indefinitely, because a race record is a permanent record. Contact details are kept while you remain on our list and for a reasonable period after your last event. You may ask us to remove you from mailing lists at any time.

8. Your choices

Unsubscribe from any email we send, using the link in that email.
Reply STOP to any text message to stop text messages.
Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
Ask us to correct anything that is wrong, including a result.

9. Children

Runners under eighteen are registered by a parent or guardian, who provides the information and agrees to this policy on their behalf.
